The Challenge: Building the foundations for future strategy Our client wanted to step back and look at the foundations of their organisation. They needed greater clarity around where they were going, what they stood for and the strategic priorities that would help take them forward. What we did We worked closely with the leadership team to refresh and align their mission and vision, before helping them develop a clear set of strategic objectives for the organisation. But we knew that their values shouldn’t simply be created in the boardroom and handed to the team. So, as part of the process, we designed and facilitated an interactive, in-person workshop that gave the wider team a genuine voice in defining the values they wanted to represent their organisation. This collaborative approach helped bring together leadership ambition and the experience and perspectives of the people who would ultimately bring the strategy and values to life. The outcome The organisation came away with an improved, clear and more aligned set of foundations: a refreshed and meaningful mission a realistic vision, defined values and strategic objectives that provided direction for the next stage of their journey. Just as importantly, the process created space for the team to contribute, challenge ideas and build a shared understanding of what the organisation stood for and where it wanted to go.
